Two flat parallel pins. Not earthed. Rated 15 A. Used in North and Central America, Japan.

Ungrounded plug with two flat parallel pins. The American version has a wider neutral pin; the Japanese version has two pins of equal width, so Japanese plugs fit US sockets but polarised US plugs may not fit older Japanese sockets.
